It's been a long, slow 3 1/2 year slog, but we're finally nearing the finish line on album no 2. Themed around a journey through a variety of locations and scenes, this collection features a number of typical Choros, but also some more orchestrated atmospheric pieces and a couple of lively Forrós.
Although Covid-19 restrictions have slowed things down somewhat, fortunately we had finished most of the actual recording process before it all hit. But then it's those last finishing stages that always seem to take way longer than anticipated - final mixdown, mastering, compiling and printing cover artwork and notes - which are looking great so far btw...
Just have to say we've been so very fortunate to have had so much wonderful support by some amazingly talented and generous people throughout the time we've been working to put this thing together. More on all that soon.
We hope to do a live launch, but who knows when that will be possible? Maybe something online...but in the meantime we'll keep you updated on progress from time to time.
